A successful local media and travel guide
By Carlos Leon
Marketing management is increasingly complex and technological, imposing innovative and creative strategies.
We enjoy talking with our advertisers and readers. It is nice to hear that in each new publication, magazines disappear from distribution posts.
Every two months an edition is published, prepared with the professional input of a dedicated team of communicators, designers, webmasters, and experts in digital marketing.
Being globally ranked 515,923 and being website no. 763 among hundreds of thousands of sites in Costa Rica, is a source of pride. This also provides “backlinks” of excellent quality to the websites of our advertisers.

We are an integral means of communication and advertisers, such as the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, one of the magazine's select brands.
The printed magazine is a local advertising medium focused on the South Pacific of Costa Rica. It has more than 142,00 readers. The online edition, #65, reached the world with more than 3,600 views. Our target audience includes potential visitors, even if only passing through, people who live in our region, and investors.
According to Google Analytics, 68% of our online audience is between 25 and 54 years old, with the 25-—to 34-year-old age group making up 30% of the total. Women represent 60.6% of the total.

We like to innovate” is our motto. In each edition, we improve the beauty of the graphic design and content of the magazine, as well as strengthen our solid web platform that accompanies and multiplies the presence of the advertisers. A recent innovation was to incorporate web link in the online magazine ads, and the expansion of our Uvita map. We have achieved a prominent position in the network of networks, even excelling tourism companies nationwide. Our position according to Alexa’s report speaks for itself.

Ballena Tales is an essential free digital magazine in Costa Rica, valid for travelers, residents, and investors covering Costa Ballena in the Canton of Osa in the South Pacific of Costa Rica. It is a fully bilingual, bi-monthly, and full-color digital magazine.
The magazine introduces the reader to the life of the local community, with interviews of pioneers, writers, and artists, as well as extensive information on restaurants, hotels, experiences, natural attractions, and wildlife of the South Pacific of Costa Rica.
We are not just a magazine; each edition (print and digital) is linked to a robust web platform; the editions are published online, and the advertorials are included in our blog and the brand in the commercial directory. We also add links to the advertising company's website and social networks. At this time, the openings of digital publications in all their expressions exceed 80 thousand openings, and the advertised brands have a global reach.
We have a loyal audience of over 8,000 readers in the South Pacific's Costa Ballena region who will view your news in each printed edition.
We prioritize our readers' satisfaction by delivering a variety of engaging content while showcasing the value of our advertisers' brands.
