The future of our paradise
Author: Carlos León.
The other day i was speaking in Marino Ballena Park with a couple of Spanish visitors. She is a sociologist and he an expert in technologies for the use of solar energy.
We discussed issues related to humanity's challenge to repair the environment al damage caused by consumer behaviors that prevailed in recent decades. She remembered the Costa Brava of Spain, Jaco, and Manuel Antonio.
Suddenly our interlocution began to flow into the future, which impressed me because humans usually have our attention immediately.
I mentioned that I still a hear the expression "we must put nature at the service V of man" as a phrase of those who defend a mercantilist T. vision of economic development in our paradise.
She used a particular word to express what caused her experience in the South Pacific of Costa Rica: "tipsiness."
She related it to a specific feeling when visiting a destination full of lustful greenery.

Because of its exceptional biodiversity, without a doubt, our destiny "intoxicates" those who visit it. The friendliness of its inhabitants, the tourist product in the hands of small and medium enterprises, and an increasingly clear conscience to take care of its main attraction, natural wealth, stand out.
That green personality is causing a growing influx of visitors, generating some sense of restlessness when looking to the future.
I remembered Osa's need for a Territorial Planning Plan at that moment. Our Spanish visitor suggested articulating efforts among residents, companies, unions, and organizations
I firmly hope that we will know how to take care of the treasure We possess. It is worth discovering this paradise, and we invite you to visit the South Pacific of Costa Rica. Does saying PURA VIDA change your brain?
When you ask a Tico, “Como le va?” they will invariably answer, “Pura Vida.” We Americans ask, “Hi, how are you” and we invariably get the answer, “Fine, thank you.” What’s the difference?
