For the purchase and sale of properties, we want to leave you a guide in case you need to present your declaration or simply as information for your knowledge.
How to complete the statement of Capital Gains and Losses (form D-162)?
Assets registered in the National Registry and other entities.
In this section of the form, the option “Yes” or “No” must be indicated according to the information to be declared. If the option is “Yes”, you must record the data corresponding to the registered property that is being declared.
You must enter the following data for the property:
Applicable rate (15% or 2.25%)
acquisition date
Type of asset
Farm number
Acquisition value
Transfer value (sale)
Gain or loss obtained
Likewise, you must enter the following data of the person or company to which the good was sold:
ID Type
ID number
Name or Social reason
Acquiring country
Assets not registered in the National Registry and other entities
In this section of the form, the option “Yes” or “No” must be indicated according to the information to be declared. If the option is “Yes”, you must record the data corresponding to the unregistered asset that is being declared.
You must enter the following data for the property:
Applicable rate (15% or 2.25%)
acquisition date
Description
Acquisition value
Transfer value (sale)
Gain or loss obtained
Likewise, you must enter the following data of the person or company to which the good was sold:
ID Type
ID number
Name or Social reason
Acquiring country
Determination of the tax base
Determination and settlement of tax debt
It automatically shows the debt to be paid, or the total considering:
The amount of interest
Request for compensation corresponding to the amount of balances in favor of other taxes from previous periods.
