Hotspot in Paradise - Whale Tail Hotel & Brewery
AUTHOR: Sophia Schmoldt
Lush nature, unique wildlife, waterfalls, jungle, and the most beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean - that's what Costa Ballena and the Canton of Osa are known for! Another thing our coast is known for is the Whale Tail, a natural formation of sand, stones, and rocks that juts out into the sea and looks like a whale tail from above. Humpback whales come to breed and have their offspring here in Costa Ballena from January-April and July-September, depending on whether they migrate from the North or South Pole.
Whale Tail Hotel & Brewery recognizes the magic of our region and invites everyone, local and from across the world, to truly experience Pura Vida. In the heart of Uvita, you can find the establishment, which includes a hotel, brewery and bar, yoga, and great tour offers.

Hotel and Brewery
If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Uvita, this is your place. The Whale Tail Hotel offers rooms for every taste and price range: for backpackers to twin rooms for couples or buddies to group sizes. The property has free parking, a pool in the large garden area, a communal kitchen, and even a restaurant. There are enough co-working spaces available for anyone who needs to work in paradise.

The bar at the Whale Tail Brewery provides evening entertainment. Here you can enjoy the best European-style beer created by master brewer Gian Michele. Gian convinces locals and tourists alike with his more than 15 years of experience in developing beers. The rustic restaurant serves delicious cocktails and food made with love. Hotel and brewery want to bring people together and spread good vibes. Every week they inspire the audience with live music.

Adventures
With its breathtaking diversity, the Osa region invites you to unique experiences in nature. The Whale Tail Hotel offers a great choice of tours and courses. There is something for everyone here: adventurers can hike to secret waterfalls, take a tour through the jungle, or snorkel and dive off an exotic island in the open sea. Athletes and sea lovers can hit the waves or book a surfing course. The Surf Club Uvita offers lessons for different levels and group sizes. If you prefer to take it easy, why not join a yoga or meditation class - take a deep breath and enjoy the nature around you.
Take a look at the weekly schedule, which always presents a varied program, and choose an offer that suits you for experiences that you will remember.
