Scotti is an example of strength and perseverance!

Scotti Trinler aka Scotti Amputee, welcomed us in his Costa Canyoning office, located within the Hotel Sueños Tranquilos in Uvita. He is an international adventure guide, and has been living in Costa Rica for the last eight years. In December 2013, he lost his right leg in a motorbike accident. Scotti spent six days in the hospital, and during those days,he experienced the love and support of his friends from all over the world. Four days after the accident, he started his first push-ups in the hospital gardens.
Team Trinler started with his beloved wife Sarah, him, and little Tavin; after the accident, many friends joined the team organizing numerous parties and concerts to help Scotti’s new beginning. He is overjoyed by the transforming energy he received from the global tribe he is part of. In February, he gave an inspirational workshop at the Envision festival.
Scotti has become a new man, fitter than ever, with a broad smile, and talking about the future. His Costa Canyoning guides are well trained, and the business is up and running. He has been using his computer as the means to keep in touch with different amputee groups in the States; this gave birth to his newest project, Stumplife, an organization that caters to the special needs of active amputees. He wants to bring them to Costa Ballena to experience extraordinary adventures.
Scotti is an example of strength and perseverance; he is practicing again surfing, paddling, and sup. Scotti wants to motivate and inspire people to Love to Live & Live to Love through the “Pura Vida” way!
