Magic Hands Spa
AUTHOR: Yurixa Mendoza
Costa Ballena, in the South Pacific of Costa Rica, receives many foreign visitors from large cities. They are people who have been experiencing a busy and stressful life. After the accumulated tensions, they come to this paradise, looking for a more peaceful existence. They were probably attracted to hearing about the concept of Pura Vida in Costa Rica.
In addition to the improvement in the lifestyle that living in an environment surrounded by nature, beaches, and friendly people produces, they can also enjoy good food, incredible experiences, and services such as a good massage (relaxing or decontracting).

My name is Yurixa from MagicaHandscr Spa. I am a therapist and masseur with 13 years of experience. Since I was a child, I have been inclined toward cosmetology and beauty-related services. I studied natural medicine and later aesthetics and cosmetology and am a stylist and manicurist.
I like to use natural products and organic essential oils. I help people with stress, muscle problems, or those who want to enjoy a good massage. Depending on the need of each one of them, I choose techniques that impact their physical, mental, and spiritual health. We provide services at home or will gladly serve you at your office.
The main objective of the massage is to relieve tension and achieve a relaxed state of mind, prioritizing manipulations and soft passes. They differ from the energetic movements typical of therapeutic or decontracting massage (specially designed for athletes).
The etymological history of relaxing massage, in terms of its oldest origins, raises two theories. One comes from the Latin "massa" derived from Greek, and another from the Arabic root "mas" which means to touch and feel.
Massage is a method of evaluation and manual treatment of those parts of the human body that present some ailment. The main benefits of relaxing massages are many:
- Reduce pain.
- Reduce or eliminate muscle tension.
- Improve blood and lymphatic circulation.
Likewise, they help fight depression, are anti-stress, and reduce anxiety.
Couple massages even help improve the relationship. Massages reduce cortisol (stress hormone) levels released in response to stress, improving mood and lowering blood pressure. On the other hand, they help stimulate serotonin and dopamine, two neurotransmitters related to depression, and enhance the ability to sleep well.
Professional massage is an immediate solution that works the muscles deeply and slowly, restoring balance and well-being to the body.
Magic Hands is located in Uvita, and it will be an absolute pleasure to serve you. Contact us to consult and make your appointment. Pura Vida!
