The Recreational Motorcycle Association Los Coyotes, founded in 1994, traveled from Cartago to Bahía Uvita. For some of the club members, this is their third time.

“We really like this place. At Bahía Azul, we are always treated very well, and yesterday, we enjoyed the whales’ tour we took at the Marino Ballena National Park, which is close to here,” said the Coyotes’ president, Mr. Berny Carvajal Obando.

The group meets every Sunday for recreational tours throughout Costa Rica, and once a month they organize a two or three-day excursion. Because of this opportunity, they have visited all of Nicaragua and toured parts of Panama from Boca Chica to Bocas del Toro.

They travel on BMW, Suzuki, Honda, and Kawasaki bikes, using dual-purpose tires for road and mountain.

The club has 50 active members. Manuel Soto, a former motorcycle racer also known as Pituco is the oldest member of the group at age 75.
