The challenges of CACOBA (Chamber of Tourism and Commerce of Costa Ballena) are many and complex, they are related to tourism and business in Costa Ballena, to the support of touristic development in the area (tourism infrastructure, public and commercial safety, health and education) and the efficient management and administration of the chamber itself, so that the chamber will be able to support and meet the needs and demands of its groups of interest (tourists, tourism operators, businesses and the general community).
Corresponding with the foregoing, the Chamber of Tourism of Costa Ballena has decided to work together with the state universities in the forming of a strategic plan or road map, that makes it possible to systematize the endeavours, the actions and future goals, considering the objects and values. This document is the product of the work realized by the members of the Chamber of Tourism of Costa Ballena and other people related to tourism and commerce.
