PRANA
I love living in a place with an abundance of nature and where prana is present. I’ve noticed that every time I visit the city, my level of energy decreases, and my allergies begin to rise. This makes me realize the importance of keeping a good level of prana in my system.
Prana is the Sanskrit word for “life force” or “vital energy.” It refers to the universal energy of the cosmos, connecting with every single living being, and all manifestations of life on the planet and the universe (through magnetism, gravity, vibrations, etc.).
In simple terms, prana is the energy that provides life and vitality to everything.
There is an abundance of prana in nature, manifested in the plants, animals, water, and more. as humans, we breathe in prana; it is the most essential connection between us and the rest of the universe.
The theory says that the absorption of prana provides us with life, vitality, stamina, strength, and keeps us healthy. The level of prana can increase or decrease according to our lifestyle. The more we are surrounded by nature, the more we acquire prana. It can also be absorbed through the food we eat, our mental patterns, and especially by breathing consciously.
Pranayama is the knowledge and control of prana through breathing techniques. Being aware of this, it’s important for us not to take breathing so lightly; we must keep in mind that when we inhale, we are absorbing the vital life force that surrounds us, and when we exhale, we are giving back our energy to nature.
