AV Law Firm was established in 1998 in Pérez Zeledón, where we still have a branch. This has been an ambitious
project that has grown and accomplished its goals. In 2007, we finally took our biggest step, which was to create an office of legal services in Uvita, Osa. That same year, the housing crisis began, which brought more challenges, but we still proved to be a solid and dynamic firm.

AV Law Firm is now evolving aimed at an even greater objective: to provide our current and future clients with an interdisciplinary group of consolidated professionals in their specific fields. They will share their legal advice on Migration laws, as well as Penal, Insurance, Environmental, Tax, Housing, Commercial, and Civil. Besides, we incorporate services in areas such as Architecture, Design, Topography, Escrow, Appraisal, Engineering, and Construction.

This is our goal for 2016, our adventure, and our dream.
Training and Experience: University (1994-1998), two pro bono years as an assistant in the office of the Public Defender, and Legal Assistant of several judges in the courts of Perez Zeledón. Experience in criminal law and the functioning of the judiciary. In 1998, I joined the Bar Association, and the same year I became an authorized Notary Public by the Supreme Court. I am bilingual, Spanish/English.
