Fun in Dominical Never Stops

Summer is here and the fun in Dominical never stops. After you’re finished with your daily activities of trekking to a waterfall, surfing, or just relaxing at the beach, another menu featuring nightlife activities allows you to keep the good times rolling.

Local and traveling musicians fill the air with beach music and steadily rock the nights away. In Dominical, there is action every night of the week. Let this be your guide to summer fun and good times.

A repertoire of beach bars and restaurants is alive with positive vibes and a fun atmosphere. There are classics like Tortilla Flats as well as a new beach bar called “La Palma Beach Club”, located underneath “Cool Vibes” Hostel.

Both beach bars are ideal to watch the sunset with a cold happy hour beer or cocktail in your hand. Tortilla Flats hosts live music from sunset through the dinner hour and late night discotheque on the weekends.

On Tuesdays down at the beach, Del Mar Taco Shop offers the ever popular “Taco Tuesday” with cheap tacos, “coldies” and tasty baja style seafood dishes. Que Nivel, located next door, has drink specials on Tuesday nights and a late night kitchen. Head over to Maracatú for “Ladies Night” on Wednesdays. Maracatú has a wide variety of DJs spinning reggae, electronic and other jungle beats until late night. On Fridays there are sunset music and craft beers at Mono Congo. The Rum Bar keeps the night rocking with music, darts, pool, and beer pong.

One of the favorite events is the night Market on the first Saturday of the month at Pueblo del Río. Starting just after sunset and lasting until about 10 pm, you will find street food, live music, craft beers and artesian clothing & jewelry. It’s a great event for the entire family!

Patron’s, apart from the extravagant food menu and flat screen TVs playing sports, hosts the biggest parties with both national and internationally famous bands and acts that you’d never suspect to see in a small beach town.

No matter what interests you, Dominical will be sure to entertain.
