Our mission is to promote the integral development of the children and teenagers of Uvita and Bahía Ballena through educational, artistic, and recreational programs so that they can choose to be responsible, respectful, and honest individuals with a good quality of life. This comprehensive training involves the participation of children in every process of our foundation.
In July 2015, we started the project of building the new center. Children have been working on field measurements, budgets, models, and transportation of tools; they have been also learning about cement hydration, waste collection, and sowing the land. With this work, the children have developed an understanding of the purpose, the cycle, and the hard work necessary to carry out such a project.
On August 20th, we had our first event at the future facilities; the event was a concert featuring an Andorra’s String Trio. We shared joy, dancing, knowledge, and a delicious cake!
We are still in need of materials and help in the installation of water and electric systems, as well as gates and doors.
