Dominical, Uvita, Ojochal, and South Pacific. Costa Rica Hotels
Find plenty of lodging options in the Costa Ballena and South Pacific Costa Rica Hotels with prices for every budget. Choose between luxury hotels, lodges, villas, cabins, hostels, and resorts.
Costa Rica´s South Pacific Coastal Region and Costa Ballena accommodations offer it all, from a luxury hotel and rental villas to ecolodges and simple "cabinas" (Spanish word used for shared accommodations, usually for four more people).
Nearly all of the hotels or establishments are very proud of their amazing ocean views and amenities, from on-site restaurants to infinity swimming pools, alongside WiFi connections on your private balcony and Spa services offered in the comfort of your own room. If the hotel does not offer an ocean view, it will surely be embedded in the middle of the mountains or the jungle, which allows you to listen to the sounds of nature, such as howler monkeys or toucans nearby.
There are a number of outstanding ecolodges, which are not only green by advertising but that have obtained their Certification of Sustainable Tourism or for the Blue Flag Program after a thorough process with the ICT - Costa Rica´s Official Chamber of Tourism. If you are a long-term traveler, most "cabinas" provide cooking facilities, a fridge, TV and some offer internet access. Please find out if you need a 4 wheel drive to get to the place of your choice, especially during the green season when it rains (mainly October and November). There is something for every budget to discover and enjoy.
