Would you love to experience an abundance of the best organic, tropical and seasonal fruit of Costa Rica? If so, this festival is for you! The Southern Zone’s premier Costa Rica Fruit Fest is happening July 27th to August 3rd at the beautiful Diamante Center, above the epic Baru Waterfalls, between the warm beaches of Uvita and urban center of San Isidro (as the toucan flies).
Beyond amazing fruit, the festival will feature gourmet, living, vegan cuisine, unlimited coconut water, and sugarcane juice, empowering workshops, energizing movement classes, a holistic healing sanctuary, tea lounge, the sacred tree, and uplifting live music. Presentation themes include permaculture, fruit forestry, plant-based nutrition, holistic health, and community building.
Morning and evening movement classes consist of yoga, meditation, qigong, martial arts and ecstatic dance. Daytime presentations offer a range of lectures, demos, and hands-on workshops, all centered on the cultivation and enjoyment of tropical fruit. Seeds will be saved, planted and donated to local farms. Nightly activities offer a variety of conscious live music, jam sessions around the Sacred Fire and delightful magic in the Tea Lounge.
Diamante Center guests have direct access to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, the double-cascading Baru Falls, less than a five-minute walk from the yoga deck.
The Baru River runs alongside the main camping area, where you can swim or hike down to the lower and middle falls for awesome photos, swimming in natural pools, rock climbing, and for thrill-seekers, epic cliff jumping!
This is an all raw-vegan, family-friendly, drug/alcohol-free, leave-no-trace, camping event. Transportation from SJO airport is included and tent rentals/upgrades are available.
To sum it up in one word, this festival is sure to be: Sweet!
