The girls behind the initiative

Sandra, Natalia and Sara met through a circle of women in Uvita, each one of them with her own unique abilities and talents. They very soon reached an agreement to co-create El Mercado of Bahía Ballena. Noting a great need for fresh products and services of all kinds and with the support of the Development Association of Uvita, the three associates were able to open the doors to their first market on December 6, 2017.

Neighbors, sellers and buyers are delighted with the initiative, both. Rosa said: "Finally I have a place to display my products," and added "I am convinced that this market is going to be great." A buyer expressed: "We don´t have to travel to San Isidro anymore. Now, all the freshness is here."
