Bryan Cespedes – Muralist of large areas
He was born in Cortes and raised in Palmar in the Osa Canton.
At school, he used to do pencil drawings, focusing on the feet of the girl sitting next to him. Years went by, and he forgot about his talent of reflecting the world around him through his drawings.
Only three years ago, when his daughter was born and due to the need to work, but wanting to be close to her and his wife; he got the brushes and canvas back into his life. At the Kokomana Restaurant in Sierpe, he performed his first art pieces, beautiful representations of mangroves and the animals that inhabit them.
He continues studying art, now; he has a good command of the tropical light in his paintings, and is a member of ARTOSA, which is the Osa Artist Association (Asociación de Artistas). He participated in several local exhibitions, and was involved in the Osa artist exhibition at the recent “Fiestas de Palmares.” He has his little Kamath art studio, where he also makes marquetry.

“The bigger the mural, the better it is” he says. It is amazing how he manages the space. Bryan dreams of decorating the facades of public buildings. “I would be a privilege to do it for free; all I need is a sponsor to cover the costs of materials and accommodations.”
