360 degrees is defined as ‘a full rotation absolute circumference, all encompassing, total and complete transformation.’ Ojochal’s brand-new luxury resort Three Sixty Boutique Hotel is appropriately named in many ways. Three Sixty describes views and also embraces the architecture, landscaping, cuisine, pool and every other aspect of the hotel. This serves to create an all involving unforgettable experience.
Built on a 58 acre reserve of primary forest, the construction takes up less than 8% of the total land mass. At an altitude of almost 1000 feet, the views of the jungle, pristine beaches, palm covered islands and the endless ocean are overwhelming. The 200 kilometer expanse also encompasses coastal panoramas from Manuel Antonio to the Osa Peninsula, the migratory route of the Humpback Whales. From this elevation, the daytime temperatures are noticeably cooler and an ocean breeze is soothing.

The panoramic scenery is intensified by an open architecture, natural floral walls and vaulted ceilings of local wood. The owners enhanced the existing natural beauty with stunning structures of natural colors and traditional and modern materials reflecting Costa Rican styles. Twelve villas offer the ultimate of luxury with hand-crafted Indonesian furniture, Venetian stucco walls, Italian linens, specialty mattresses, Raw Botanical toiletries, flat screen televisions, espresso machine and a personal minibar.
The Kua Kua Restaurant (meaning butterfly in the local Borucan Indian language) makes food a celebration. The 360 Bar, positioned for the sunset with poolside access, a perfect spot to take the most amazing photography. The main feature is the large infinity pool that wraps around the front, offering swim-up seating.
There is plenty to discover at this adult only destination. The surrounding reserve provides trails with opportunities to observe the abundant wildlife. Also, traditional and private tours can be personalized with the help of the on-site concierge. You will have to decide why it is called Three Sixty. Is it the view, incredible cuisine, unique experience, open-air architecture, stunning landscaping or something else that makes your head turn 360 degrees? Come and see it! The biggest risk is that you won’t want to leave.
