Envision 2013 – Uvita – Costa Rica
The third Envision Festival was held in Bahia-Uvita in February. The Festival delighted the attendees who had come from all over the world with a great variety of activities ranging from performing and visual arts, live music, yoga, and lecture based workshops. Envision aims to bring people together to help initiate positive change in the world.
For many, it was a catalyst for personal growth. It inspired each participant to ask themselves fundamental questions concerning life and society, and to try to find the answers to walk away with positive ideas that transgress into daily life and action. Amongst the unusual rain pour and the electricity outage, the Festival went on sharing positivity. Despite the mud, one on-looker commented, “Let’s play in the rain like when we were kids.”

In a larger sense for Costa Ballena, it brought many tourists to discover the area. Many vendors present at the event were from other parts of Costa Rica. It was a great happening that brought many together to love, live, and grow! Credits to the organizers Josh, Sofiah and Brandon from Dominical! See you all next year, Envisionaries!
